I sometimes wish that I had cigarettes. But I care so much about babylove's health that in order to smoke one I'd have to change clothes and shower before resuming my mothering duties. (I'm breastfeeding, too, so I'm not sure how she'd react once it got into my milk.)
I think it's great that you're so concerned with her health and wellbeing, and that you are completely avoiding cigarettes. I don't know much about smoking and breastfeeding, haha...but I think it's a good idea to avoid smoking all together. I don't smoke around my son, but I still wish I could stop.
My friend Jerri Ann used a rubberband in highschool. She ahd it on her wrist and when she felt like smoking hse'd pop herself really really hard over and over. At first the pain would just make her want a cigarette, but after a few weeks she associated the pain with smoking and weaned.

Date: 2008-02-12 06:51 pm (UTC)I want to quit smoking, but now isn't a very good time. I guess I could say that all of the time though, haha. It's just another excuse.
