Yes, it was terrible. I was hoping it would be a little better than I thought it would be, but nope. It met my expectations. Remakes really are bad most of the time. Not always, but a lot of the time. Live action (or partially live action, like the Smurfs movie) remakes of cartoons are ALWAYS bad though.
