Feb. 19th, 2012 02:17 amJenny was in a car accident yesterday. She's ok, but she totaled her car. She was making a left-hand turn and somebody ran a red light and smashed into her. The air bags went off, and her chest hurts from that. She also got whiplash, but other than that and a few bruises she's ok. Really sore though. The paramedics took her to the hospital to make sure everything was ok, since she's quite obviously pregnant. Thank God she and the baby are ok. I'm really glad Evan wasn't in the car with her when it happened.
Even though Jenny's injuries aren't very bad, she's still in quite a bit of pain. I feel bad for her. Since she's pregnant all she can take is Tylenol, and that isn't helping her very much at all. She could take Lortab/Vicodin, but she'd rather not. I'm actually pretty happy that she's choosing not to take that while she's pregnant, but I don't know...if she's in that much pain, maybe she should. I just wish I could make her feel better. She said that her neck, back, and chest are killing her, so she spent the day in bed. She has a pretty nasty looking bruise on her left arm, and I know that's hurting her too. Oh well, I guess...at least it's not as bad as it could have been. I'm just glad she's ok.
Jenny's car is totally fucked. So now we have to add car shopping to our long list of things to do. Such a pain in the ass. It's not exactly an expense we need at the moment, seeing as how Ella will be here in less than three months, but oh well. At least insurance will cover a good chunk of it.
We had a really good Valentine's Day. I was really nervous about playing that song for her. I don't know why I was so nervous, but I was. I nailed it though, if I do say so myself haha. It had just been SO long since I last played/sang it. It made Jenny cry, so I guess my sappiness was a success haha. She loves the necklace I bought for her. She has worn it every day since. Evan gave his little girlfriend flowers and made a heart-shaped card for her. It was pretty cute.
Well, I'll catch up with you guys in a bit. I hope you're all doing well.
