Nov. 30th, 2008 03:26 amThanksgiving was better than I expected it to be. We went to Annie's house first, and then to my mom's house later, because my family does it later than hers. It was my first time meeting anyone in her extended family, and I thought it would be much more awkward than it was. She comes from a picture perfect family, and I don't exactly think that I'm their idea of the perfect person for their precious little Annie, seeing as how I'm divorced with a kid and I am not (yet) a college graduate. It was ok though. I guess I turned out to be the judgmental one, because I made assumptions about their ways of thinking and what they were like before I even met them. At least I was wrong and they turned out to be pretty cool. I'm glad that's over and done with though.
I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.
