It was highly reminiscent of an incident near where I come from - the Dunblane massacre http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunblane_school_massacre I was in school when it happened, we went into Police lock down and had to get escorted home for safety. We knew people who lost children that day too.
We knew the guy who did it, he was notorious for having guns and having 'issues'. The guy was pretty twisted. The full details of the murders at Newtown are not yet released, kinda keeping an eye on it to see what comes from this.
Just seems so surreal, killing those poor children...so so sad to see this happen again.
