We went on a picnic today, and oh my God it was hot. We left our house a little before 4:00, and it was still 99 degrees out. At least it dropped down to 90 in the mountains and there was shade, so that wasn't too bad. But 99 in the sun? Fuck that. I hate being out in the sun. Seriously, I hate it. The sun pisses me off haha. Jenny's not a big fan either. Actually, the sun sometimes makes her feel faint and it gives her really bad headaches. It gives me headaches sometimes too. But all the trees and plants and shit in the mountains messed with my sinuses, so now I have a bad sinus headache. Stupid nature. I'm allergic to nature.
All bitching aside, it was fun. Today is Jenny's mom's birthday, so they reserved a camp site/picnic area or whatever it is and a pretty big group of us went up for a picnic and cake. Jenny stayed with the baby most of the time, although Ella got passed around plenty. People always want to take turns holding babies, so that's kind of nice. But anyway, B and I went off for a while and played with the kids (Evan, a cousin on Jenny's side, and her niece and nephew). There was a little stream, and we jumped across logs and rocks to get to the other side. Then we threw rocks into it to see who could make the biggest splash, and we tried skipping stones, but there were too many rocks and the water was really shallow, so it didn't work very well. After that we went on a little hike. That was enough exercise for me for the month. Hahaha.
I want to amputate my head from my upper jaw all the way to the top. Something tells me that wouldn't be a very good idea, but my fucking sinuses are driving me crazy. I really need to get my septum fixed...I think that might help. No, it's not from cocaine (although that definitely fucked up my sinuses). It's deviated and always has been. I think I broke my nose when I was younger without realizing it, and that made it even worse. But yeah, a septoplasty and sinus surgery sounds pretty appealing right now. I hate doctors though, and I don't really want to have surgery. But I'm tempted, because sinus problems are the worst. I would much rather have a regular headache than a sinus headache, any day of the week.
They had a big cake at the picnic party, and Jenny's mom sent some home with us. Now I get chocolate cake for breakfast tomorrow! Hell yeah. And/or for a late-night snack tonight. We'll see. She sent home fruit too, which was really good, but the cake comes first. Fruit is second. Most definitely.
This is a pretty boring entry, sorry. But it's much nicer not to have drama, hectic, or crazy things going on! So a boring entry is just fine by me.
Man, I'm tired. I could fall asleep right now. But by the time it's time to go to bed, I'll be wide awake and I'll end up staying up really late. That's the way it always works. It's not very convenient.
