Baby Talk (and some other stuff)

Sorry for the flood of updates...I just have nothing better to do with myself right now. Well, that's not true. I'm bored, but I'm lazy, so I don't want to do anything but sit here.

Like I said in my last entry, Jenny is almost 21 weeks pregnant now. The little weekly e-mail thing she gets said that the baby is about the size of a banana. That's kind of vague...I have seen some big ass bananas, and also some really little ones (and no, I'm not thinking of plantains). I'll just assume it's a medium-sized banana.

Jenny got after me for not coming up with a name(s) yet. I told her she needed to help out with the middle name like she said she would, or I would name it after Sid Vicious. Of course I wouldn't. Not even if it was a boy. I need to stop calling the baby "it," now that we know she's a girl. Bad habit haha.

The baby can hear sounds now. Jenny told me (half jokingly) that she was going to start putting headphones on her belly with Britney Spears playing loudly, so that she could get an early start turning the baby into a Britney fan. I told her "Heeeellllllll no," and said that if she did that, I'd start playing hardcore street punk all the time, and put headphones playing that on her belly every time she went to sleep. She vehemently opposed to that lol.

In unrelated news...

Jenny makes the best cheesecake ever. Seriously. I was about to go have a cigarette, but forget that...I'm having more cheesecake instead. I had some earlier today and forgot about it until now. Heeelllllll yes. Maybe that's how I can quit smoking...have Jenny make cheesecake all the time, so that it's always around. But then I'd just get fat. Plus it would probably get old after a while, and too much cheesecake would be sickening. Her cheesecake is seriously amazing though.

My LJ mail keeps freezing. It has been doing that for a couple of days now. Seriously...LJ hates me. It's always something.

I still haven't heard anything from Allison. I guess that's over and done with! Thank God. I am SO glad that I don't have to deal with that crazy bitch. If I never talk to her again, it will be too soon.

Oh no Jenny, not Britney Spears!!!!! Quick! The baby needs an antidote! Roxette. Foo Fighters. Within Temptation. Plumb. Tori Amos. Nightwish. Nirvana. Bon Jovi. Van Halen. The Doors. Rob Zombie. Def Leppard. Tool. The Smashing Pumpkins. (and a million other rock groups) And if she really wants the calmer stuff, Mariah Carey. Britney is a bad influence to kids, though I have to admit I liked at least a couple of her songs back in the day. I'd feel sorry for you if the baby liked boy bands too... and justin bieber. I can't seem to get anywhere on the internet without hearing about that stupid kid...*pulls a homer and chokes him*

Jenny is OBSESSED with Britney Spears lol. I had to get her the Britney Femme Fatale Tour DVD for Christmas. It was at the top of her list haha. Boy bands kind of phased out, didn't they? Or maybe not...I don't pay attention to that type of music. But Jenny used to like boy bands too lol. Specifically *NSYNC. That was before I met her, but still. She's still in love with Justin Timberlake. I'll admit that he's talented though. I don't mind him. But occasionally she'll put on some old *NSYNC and it pretty much makes me want to blow my brains out haha. I've gotten used to Britney because I'm forced to hear her all the time against my will. I don't like her music, but if I have to hear poppy shit I'd rather hear Britney Spears than Katy Perry and Lady Gaga for the most part.

But yeah, I'm hoping the baby will NOT be into that type of music when she's older lol. Knowing her mom she probably will be though. Evan's favorite band is Nirvana (so he says), so at least I've done well with him. He likes Nirvana, The Beatles, and The Doors. Not too bad for a kindergarten kid!

Justin Bieber is considered a boyband and that little bastard is EVERYWHERE. You can't even turn on the radio without hearing "baby" somewhere.

At least you're spared with Evan LOL. It's tough to name a favorite band...Maybe Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Evanescence...

Yeah, he does seem to be everywhere. I felt for the kid with that little paternity issue he had though, since it was going on at pretty much the same time as my issue with Allison haha. I manage to avoid much exposure to Justin Bieber. I can see how he'd be annoying though.

Nirvana is amazing. One of my top favorite bands of all time, for sure.

Haha yeah...Jenny is obsessed with Britney. Bad. You have no idea how often I'm forced to listen to her in the car. Jenny even has a copy of her newest CD in my car (as well as in her car). It's bad.

It's AMAZING. Seriously. And yeah, a cheesecake addiction would probably kill me faster than cigarettes would lol. Cheesecake that many times a day would be a heart attack waiting to happen.

I'm kind of used to it, but it gets annoying when that's ALL she listens to and I have to hear it all the time. Jenny HATES some of the stuff I listen to, but there's also stuff we both like. So at least there's SOME middle ground haha.

I seem to be the only one that doesn't see the big deal with the baby listening to some Britney. Haha. Maybe because that was the cool music when I was right in my tweens. LOL. I <3 Britney.

I don't really have a problem with it haha. I was mostly just giving Jenny crap. Although I am a bit sick of hearing Britney all.the.time.
